Play Therapist
Ash specialises in providing 1:1 or group play therapy sessions to children who have low self-esteem or confidence, have experienced trauma, bereavement or neglect as well as children who are struggling with emotional or behavioural difficulties. Ash provides children with a safe space to express themselves through play. Ash has extensive experience in working with children in care and children / families from the asylum seeking and refugee community. Ash has developed many skills working with children and families with various different difficulties, abilities and learning needs during the fourteen years she has worked as a Therapeutic Social Worker.
Ash is has over 400 + hours experience and is registered with PTUK. Ash holds a MA in Social Work, BA Hons in French and PGDip in Play Therapy.
During her spare time, Ash likes to spend time with her family, go for walks in nature and travelling.
